Introduction

This personal data privacy policy has been drafted by Combodo , whose registered office is located at 5 RUE DE L’OCTANT 38130 ECHIROLLES, FRANCE, in accordance with the provisions of the revised French Law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 (known as the “Loi informatique et libertés” or “LIL” (Data Protection Act)) and the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) n°2016/679.

Combodo collects your personal data when you visit the https://www.combodo.com website. Combodo is therefore considered to be responsible for processing your data.

Combodo undertakes to limit personal data collection to what is strictly necessary (data minimization).

The website is hosted by the WP Engine infrastructure, with optimal security levels. In particular, this means that physical access to systems is rigorously controlled, software and systems are monitored, patched and updated with the relevant security upgrades, and anti-intrusion devices are used to prevent attacks.

SECTION 1 - What types of personal data do we collect and for what purposes?

1 – Cookies : cookies are placed on your computer, cell phone or tablet to improve the interactivity of the site and our services. You can technically block them using your browser settings, but your experience on the site may be degraded. In addition, you have the option of rejecting the use of audience measurement trackers that are strictly necessary for the operation and current administration operations of the website, via the cookie management window.

2 – Contact form: data marked with an asterisk must be provided, otherwise we cannot respond to your request. These are: last name, first name, phone number, e-mail, company, subject and message. We use this information solely for the purpose of responding to your contact request.

3 – Job application / unsolicited application : When you apply for one of our vacancies or make an unsolicited application, we collect your last name, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, CV and covering letter in order to examine the application and contact you if necessary.

SECTION 2 - What are the legal grounds for processing your data?

We collect and process your personal data in compliance with the regulations and only in accordance with the following legal grounds:

  • When you provide us with personal data via the contact form, workshop registrations or audience measurement cookies, you consent to us collecting and using it solely for the purposes detailed in section 1.
  • When necessary with regard to our legitimate interests (creation of a CV-library, functional cookies).

SECTION 3 - Who do we share your data with?

Your personal data will not be shared outside of the different Combodo departments. We do not sell or lease your personal data to third parties under any circumstances and no data is transferred outside the European Union.

SECTION 4 - What is the legal basis for processing your data?

We keep your personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary:

  • Data transmitted via the contact form: the duration is 5 years from the processing of the request;
  • Data transmitted for job applications: collected data is kept for a period of 2 years after the last contact with the applicant, and may be kept for the duration of the contract in the event of recruitment;
  • Cookies: your preferences regarding cookie consent are saved for 12 months, and cookies deposited at the time of consent expire after 13 months;

SECTION 5 - What are your rights?

We guarantee your right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to request that said data be rectified, restricted or deleted. You may also request a copy of your personal data or object to the processing of your personal data.

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer whom you can contact if you have any questions about the processing of your personal data and wish to exercise your rights as follows. You can exercise these rights by contacting Combodo:

For any request or information concerning the exercise of your rights, you will need to provide your first and last name. We will contact you to obtain further information and possibly proof of identity, depending on your request. Said request will be destroyed as soon as the right has been exercised. It is essential that you indicate which specific right you wish to exercise, as well as providing your e-mail or postal address so that we can contact you. We will respond to the request within one month, unless there are particular difficulties.
